Accounting
Charlotte Perkins Gilman:
However, one cannot put a quart in a pint cup.
Dale Carnegie:
Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.
Dorothy Thompson:
Courage, it would seem, is nothing less than the power to overcome danger, misfortune, fear, injustice, while continuing to affirm inwardly that life with all its sorrows is good; that everything is meaningful even if in a sense beyond our understanding; and that there is always tomorrow.
Dorothy Thompson:
Fear grows in darkness; if you think there's a bogeyman around, turn on the light.
Elie Wiesel:
I have learned two lessons in my life: first, there are no sufficient literary, psychological, or historical answers to human tragedy, only moral ones. Second, just as despair can come to one another only from other human beings, hope, too, can be given to one only by other human beings.
Yang Mui and I survived the POA marathon… though she deserves more credit because her marathon was longer than mine.
Night classes sure are a drag yes?
POA UOL lectures on the second day where more effective for me.
It seems I am more apt at doing managerial accounting compared to the financial aspect of the same subject.
The irritating thing is that the financial portion yields the most marks… grrr…
Libon has awaken the desire to do better for the subject… haha… Thank you Dr. Fung!
Too bad the revision lectures were only 2 days… shoot… now have to piah all the way for the next one… local revision shall be the next target… bonsai!
It has been a while since I had a marathon of studying or being outside the house, due in part to the blardy injury. Not used to running around that much any more. But I do look forward to getting back into that regime once more… if anything, it would be a reminder as to how much I need good health. Running on pure adrenaline is a shiok sensation…
-psychotic laughter-
Had my ‘final’ training session on Wednesday.
After this Saturday, I will not be attending any tkd sessions at all for at least a month, or until I am fully healed.
I do not see the point in working out, when I am not entirely well, and then get more injured than I originally was. That would be horrible with a capital ‘H’!
To say I am not affected by not training would be a hug fat lie.
Because, by golly, I freaking AM!
It pains me not to be able to join the rest in whatever practices they doing for the session.
It pains me not to be able to enjoy my sport to the fullest.
And worst of all:
It pains me not being able to enjoy the time with my friends.
-hits head against the wall-
Had better make my time away worth it xia~
By the way, don get me wrong, I will not be training, but I do intend to fulfill my duties on the admin side… haha…
Swimming pool!
Need to rehabilitate my body… too bad they closed the swimming pool behind my place… now I have to take a buses instead … shesh~
Better than nothing I guess… have to stay in shape… haha…
Much to do with little time to do it in… so goes the usual mantra…
Back to the books!
Study hard and smart guys!
^-^
